I am an award-winning photographer and floral designer, exploring color, form, light and texture through my work, finding inspiration in nature. I have a BFA in photography from University of Georgia and over 40 years of experience in art and design. My years as a professional floral designer has provided me with knowledge and understanding of flowers and plants, appreciating the fleeting and finite beauty that they so gracefully possess. My esthetic leans towards minimalism often blurring the lines between photography and painting, preferring a subdued and tranquil palette. I continue to work towards embracing imperfection, drawing influence from the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. Photography for me, is a way to express myself, present a point of view and create something unique and beautiful. I want my images to intrigue, compel and invite viewers to see something new.
